Baseball Recap: Vidor Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Vidor can now relate to. They fell 7-2 to the Bullard Panthers on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat on Saturday.

This is the second loss in a row for Vidor and nudges their season record down to 17-13. As for Bullard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

Vidor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bullard, they will challenge Hargrave at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
