Graford had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.9 runs), and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Gorman Panthers and snuck past 2-1. For Graford, this counts as revenge for the 15-0 defeat Gorman walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2016.

Graford will head out on the road to challenge Bluff Dale at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Graford is facing Bluff Dale at the right time seeing as Bluff Dale is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. Gorman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
