Basketball Recap: Graham-Kapowsin Takes a Loss

Graham-Kapowsin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Emerald Ridge Jaguars 66-28. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Jaguars are ranked 34th).

Graham-Kapowsin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Emerald Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Graham-Kapowsin will challenge South Kitsap at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Emerald Ridge, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Emerald Ridge Jaguars challenge the Bonney Lake Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Emerald Ridge will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
