After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Durant, East Bay was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Armwood Hawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Indians not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 18th (when they won 3-0).

East Bay walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-19.

Gianna Hernandez paced East Bay's offense, picking up eight kills. Hernandez really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. Kaylee Hartung and Allison Elwell kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

With the victory, East Bay broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-10. As for Armwood, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

East Bay has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Bloomingdale on the 8th. As for Armwood, they will venture away from home to square off against Tampa Bay Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
