Soccer Game Preview: West Fork vs. Montgomery

The West Fork Gators are taking a road trip to challenge the Montgomery Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

West Fork fell victim to Shadow Creek and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Sharks by a score of 1-0. West Fork have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Montgomery made easy work of Hargrave on Friday and carried off a 5-1 victory. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Montgomery hit Hargrave with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Valentina Barnett (3), Mills Rodrigue, and Aleah Whitehead.

Montgomery has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-10-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five contests. As for West Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14-1.
