Softball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Providence Grove Patriots, falling 16-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 24-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Trinity's record now sits at 1-5. As for Providence Grove, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Trinity is set to take on their familiar foe Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Providence Grove will challenge rival East Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
