Goddard entered their tilt with Clovis on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Tuesday.

Payton Abalos paced Goddard's offense, picking up 11 kills. Abalos got some help from Landry Brown and her 27 assists. Abalos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Goddard's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Clovis, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Goddard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Melrose on the 27th. As for Clovis, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Capital on the 27th.
