Basketball Recap: Chilton Comes Up Short

Chilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Mumford Mustangs, falling 80-26. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-16.

Chilton's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Mumford, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chilton will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Moody at 1:00 p.m. on December 31st. Mumford and Bremond will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
