Granby waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Norcom Greyhounds 22-1. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

Granby's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Norcom, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granby will head out to face off against Nansemond River at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Norcom, they will face off against Hampton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crabbers will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Greyhounds surely won't give up without a fight.
