Kathleen scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Bridge to Independence Wildcats 88-82. Even though they lost, the Red Devils' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.2 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Jones, who posted 23 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Jones a new career-high in points. Zion Williams was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Jye Moreno was his usual excellent self, going 12 of 22 on his way to 32 points in addition to five assists and three steals for Bridge to Independence. The contest was Moreno's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brock DAlessandro, who dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists.

Kathleen has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Bridge to Independence, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Kathleen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-50 loss against Sebring on the 28th. Bridge to Independence has also already played their next contest, a 72-47 victory against All Saints' Academy on the 28th.
