The Starr's Mill Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Northside Patriots at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Starr's Mill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.

Starr's Mill is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Pace Academy just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-3. Zara Wilson was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Kendra Ivaska and Alexis King scored all three of Starr's Mill's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Meanwhile, Northside waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Northside might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six goals or more this season.

Northside's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight matches. As for Starr's Mill, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Starr's Mill took their victory against Northside in their previous matchup back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0. Does Starr's Mill have another victory up their sleeve, or will Northside turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
