Midlothian had already won ten in a row and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They blew past the Crandall Pirates 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Midlothian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Crandall between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-18.

Midlothian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Makenzi Shaw out in front who had seven digs and three aces. Those seven digs gave Shaw a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sheridan Riles, who had 14 digs and five assists.

Midlothian's victory bumped their record up to 23-13. As for Crandall, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Midlothian will square off against rival Kaufman at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crandall is set to challenge their familiar foe Midlothian Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
