Highland entered their tilt with Eastside on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by  a  13-1 margin over the Lions. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Landon Manzano made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Manzano was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  triple. That  triple was  his first of the season.
 In other batting news, Highland got a  massive  performance out of  Mateo Dominguez, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. What's more,  Dominguez posted three  RBI, the most he's  had since back in February.  Hudson Harding also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
Highland's victory bumped their record up to 11-6-1. As for Eastside, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last nine games. That's still a better percentage than their 3-13-1 record  this season.
 Highland will venture away from home to  square off against West Ranch  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.6  runs per game this season. As for Eastside, they will head out to  challenge Quartz Hill  at 3:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
