Volleyball Recap: Sabino Comes Up Short

Sabino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks. The Sabercats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Sabino's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Andrada Polytechnic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sabino is set to challenge their familiar foe Safford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Andrada Polytechnic will square off against rival Empire at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
