Basketball Recap: Cedarville's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Cedarville had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 win over the Charleston Tigers on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted since January 31st.

Cedarville's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Charleston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Cedarville will take on Paris in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Charleston and Cossatot River will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
