Curry proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Good Hope Raiders, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Yellowjackets have posted since August 26th.

Curry had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 27-25, 15-8.

Curry has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Good Hope, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-15.

Curry has already played their next match (against East Lawrence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Good Hope, they will take on Hanceville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
