Softball Recap: Pope County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pope County can now relate to. They came up short against the Waltonville Spartans on Tuesday, falling 16-0.

Pope County has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-16 record this season. As for Waltonville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 30-6.

As of now, neither Pope County nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
