Baseball Recap: Mormon Trail Comes Up Short

Mormon Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Moulton-Udell Eagles, falling 18-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-7 on Thursday.

Mormon Trail's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Moulton-Udell, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Mormon Trail wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-5 defeat against Twin Cedars on the 14th. As for Moulton-Udell, they have also already played their next match, a 15-2 loss against Melcher-Dallas on the 14th.
