Basketball Recap: Menlo-Atherton Comes Up Short

Menlo-Atherton and Valley Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Menlo-Atherton had to settle for second. They took a 65-51 bruising from the Valley Christian Warriors. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 73-60.

Menlo-Atherton's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Valley Christian, their win bumped their record up to an identical 18-7.

Coincidentally, Menlo-Atherton and Valley Christian will both be playing Archbishop Riordan the next time they take the court. Menlo-Atherton will head out to face Archbishop Riordan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Valley Christian will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
