Volleyball Recap: Prosper Takes a Loss

Prosper lost against Eagle Mountain last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1.

Eagle Mountain's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lily Adams led the charge by getting 14 digs. Those 14 digs gave Adams a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cambri Chukes, who had ten digs and two aces.

Prosper has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Eagle Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Prosper has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Highland Park on the 21st. As for Eagle Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lamar on the 21st.
