Soccer Recap: Tough Loss for Unity

Friday just wasn't the day for Unity's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Rice Lake Warriors. While losing is never fun, Unity can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 227th, while Rice Lake are ranked 90th).

Unity has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's taken a bite out of their 4-9-1 record this season. As for Rice Lake, they pushed their record up to 10-3-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Unity wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, an 8-0 loss against New Richmond on the 12th.
