Softball Recap: Harrisburg Takes a Loss

Harrisburg lost against Hoxie two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hornets came up short against the Mustangs, falling 11-5.

Addy Biggs made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Those stolen bases were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Hannah Mross, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Harrisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Hoxie, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Harrisburg will square off against rival Walnut Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hoxie is set to face off against their familiar foe Rivercrest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
