Football Recap: Southbridge Comes Up Short on the Road Against Minuteman Regional

Southbridge had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Minuteman Regional Minuteman, falling 24-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

JJ Maldonado Cosme threw for 85 yards on six of 20 attempts.

Minuteman Regional's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Southbridge has already played their next match, a 34-0 defeat against Worcester Tech on the 19th. As for Minuteman Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-6 win against Atlantis/Westport on the 19th.
