Basketball Recap: Grand Terrace Extends Winning Streak to Four

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Grand Terrace's strategy against Rialto on Friday. The Grand Terrace Titans strolled past the Rialto Knights with points to spare, taking the game 77-60. The win was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on four straight.

Grand Terrace's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reggie Caldwell, who went 9 for 15 on his way to 24 points and six boards. The match was Caldwell's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Deisyn Payne, who went 7 of 14 en route to 20 points and five rebounds.

Grand Terrace smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Grand Terrace is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for Rialto, they now have a losing record at 11-12.

Grand Terrace didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-53 win against Ayala on the 25th. As for Rialto, they will face off against Carter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
