Flag Football Recap: Dublin's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Dublin lost against Monte Vista back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gaels took a 25-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Gaels came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Mustangs are ranked 417th).

Dublin's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8. As for Monte Vista, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-13.

Looking ahead, Dublin will face off against California at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Gaels surely won't give up without a fight. Monte Vista has already played their next contest (against Dougherty Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
