Basketball Game Preview: East River Falcons vs. Seminole Seminoles

The East River Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Seminole Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Seminole will be up against a hot East River team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. East River blew past Innovation 66-30 on Wednesday. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Bulls are ranked 665th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Seminole won against Winter Springs on Wednesday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Seminole walked away with a 63-53 win over Lake Mary. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Seminoles.

East River has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Seminole, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

East River skirted past Seminole 60-57 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for East River since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
