The Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Olympic Heights Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Archbishop Carroll's defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so Olympic Heights' offense will have their work cut out for them.
On Friday, Archbishop Carroll came up short against Palmer Trinity and fell 39-29. The Bulldogs gained 162 more yards on the day, but it was the Falcons that made the best use of them.

Despite the loss, Archbishop Carroll got top-tier performance from William Secola, who rushed for 141 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Secola is now averaging an impressive 103.9 rushing yards per game. Archbishop Carroll also got a significant boost from Kendru Pembleton, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 131 yards.
Archbishop Carroll didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dylan Galadza and Robert Herrera. Herrera also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight. Jonas Taylor was another major factor on D, making nine total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Olympic Heights made easy work of Oxbridge Academy on Friday and carried off a 29-6 victory. Considering the Lions have won five games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Olympic Heights' win came from a few key players Archbishop Carroll will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Stephen Yiadom, who rushed for 99 yards and one score on only 12 carries.
One reason for the win was Olympic Heights' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Sebastian Gonzalez and Jordan Reid, who racked up four sacks between them. Reid has become a key player for Olympic Heights: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least one sack, but 0-3 otherwise.
Having lost for the first time this season, Archbishop Carroll fell to 6-1-1. As for Olympic Heights, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
