Rochester had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Eastern on Monday. The Zebras put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 15-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Zebras, who have now won three games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Bria Rensberger was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
