West Central and Kouts are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The West Central Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Kouts is hoping to do on Thursday what Frontier couldn't on Tuesday: put an end to West Central's winning streak, which now stands at five games. Jaden Erb was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Erb has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Erb was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
