Kiefer came tearing into Friday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Verdigris Cardinals with points to spare, taking the game 37-19. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Cardinals are ranked 296th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kiefer pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game. As for Verdigris, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
