Volleyball Recap: Hebron Victorious

It was a Battle of the Birds when Hebron challenged South Shore Homeschool Athletics on Thursday. The Hawks came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: South Shore Homeschool Athletics scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 23-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Hebron found their leader in sophomore Antonio Pena, who had 19 digs and two aces. Pena has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times he's played.

Hebron's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for South Shore Homeschool Athletics, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Hebron has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against South Central on the 25th. As for South Shore Homeschool Athletics, they will venture away from home to face off against HomeSchool Resource Center at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
