Lebanon has gone 8-2 against Tazewell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lebanon Pioneers will head out on the road to face off against the Tazewell Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, Lebanon ended up a good deal behind Virginia High and lost 67-48. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Bearcats are ranked 82nd).

Meanwhile, Tazewell came up short against Richlands on Wednesday and fell 67-55. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Blue Tornado: they've now lost three in a row.

This is the second loss in a row for Lebanon and nudges their season record down to 13-9. As for Tazewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Lebanon was able to grind out a solid win over Tazewell in their previous meeting back in January, winning 74-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lebanon since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
