Luciana Correa and Rylie Marquart did most of the damage at the plate: Correa scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Marquart scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Hannah Schleiger, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Bridgeland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .909. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Cypress Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to Cypress Ranch.

Bridgeland's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Cypress Park, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Cypress Park's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bridgeland hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .326. It's a different story for Cypress Park, though, as they've only averaged .132. Will they be able to contain Bridgeland's hitters?

Bridgeland took their victory against Cypress Park in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
