Basketball Recap: Sioux Central Skates Past Storm Lake St. Mary with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sioux Central). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 65-22 victory over the Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rebels considering their 13-point performance the contest before.

Sioux Central now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Storm Lake St. Mary, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sioux Central and Pocahontas will compete for holiday cheer at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Storm Lake St. Mary, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers challenge the Southeast Valley Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
