After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Port of Los Angeles, New West Charter was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Hawkins Hawks 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won eight in a row.

New West Charter was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-13, 25-22.

New West Charter's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Hawkins, their loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New West Charter will welcome Fremont at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fremont will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something New West Charter surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hawkins, they will be playing at home against Port of Los Angeles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
