Baseball Recap: East Stroudsburg South Comes Up Short

East Stroudsburg South lost against Stroudsburg back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cavaliers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountaineers.

East Stroudsburg South saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Cruz, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

East Stroudsburg South's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Stroudsburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Stroudsburg South will take on Pocono Mountain East at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stroudsburg, they will face off against Delaware Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
