Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Geneva). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Daleville Warhawks 78-6. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Warhawks are ranked 358th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kaden Ward continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9 for 15 en route to 19 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Sidona Scobie was another key player, going 5 of 8 on her way to 11 points and five boards.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Geneva, bringing their record for this year to 16-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 58.2 points. As for Daleville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Geneva Panthers challenge the Bethlehem Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Daleville, they are taking a road trip to take on Ashford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
