Football Game Preview: Jim Hill vs. Pearl

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Pearl. They will challenge Jim Hill on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Pearl are coming into the match hot, having won four in a row.

Pearl put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered George County 41-0. Pearl found Pearl's leader in underclassman sophomore Shade Foster, who passed for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns. Johnson has now scored at least one touchdown in the past five games.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Jim Hill, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They fell to Petal 30-42.

Pearl took the contest and then some with a 49-6 victory over Jim Hill the last time the two teams met. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pearl since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
