It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rockwall had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Sachse Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Yellowjackets as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rockwall took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-14.
Audrey St. Clair was nothing short of spectacular: she had 16 digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 16 times she's played. Harper Barnett also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
Rockwall's win bumped their record up to 27-15. As for Sachse, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-18.
