Football Game Recap: Tri-County vs. Winfield-Mt. Union

After having lost a blowout to English Valleys in their previous game, Winfield-Mt. Union was happy to find some success on Friday. Winfield-Mt. Union were fully in charge, breezing past Tri-County 72-0. The success represented a nice turnaround for Winfield-Mt. Union, who in their last game suffered a tough 18-74 loss.

The win bumped Winfield-Mt. Union's record up to 1-2. The defeat started Tri-County out at 0-1 for the season.

Winfield-Mt. Union are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Montezuma next week at 7:00 PM. Tri-County will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Iowa Valley at 7:00 PM.
