Baseball Game Preview: Odessa Bronchos vs. San Angelo Central Bobcats

The Odessa Bronchos will head out on the road to square off against the San Angelo Central Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Odessa is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Friday just wasn't the day for Odessa's offense. They fell 4-0 to Midland last Friday.

Meanwhile, San Angelo Central suffered their closest loss since February 28th on Friday. They fell just short of Midland by a score of 9-7. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Odessa's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for San Angelo Central, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Odessa took their victory against San Angelo Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bronchos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
