Volleyball Recap: V.R. Eaton Comes Up Short

V.R. Eaton saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of the Grand Oaks Grizzlies by a score of 2-1.

Lexi Martin paced V.R. Eaton's offense, picking up 19 kills. Martin got some help from Keely DePauw and her 19 assists. Finally, Martin was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

V.R. Eaton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Grand Oaks, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

V.R. Eaton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Highland Park on the 22nd. As for Grand Oaks, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Northwest on the 22nd.
