The Marana Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Cesar Chavez Champions at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Marana is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

Meanwhile, Cesar Chavez fell victim to Tucson High Magnet School and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Badgers. The Champions have struggled against the Badgers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Marana has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season. As for Cesar Chavez, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.

Cesar Chavez's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Marana has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11 hits per game. It's a different story for Cesar Chavez, though, as they've been averaging 9.8 hits. Given Marana's sizable advantage in that area, the Champions will need to find a way to close that gap.
