Basketball Game Preview: Purchase Line Red Dragons vs. Harmony Area Owls

Having just played yesterday, the Purchase Line Red Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Harmony Area Owls at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Purchase Line and 13 for Harmony Area.

On Thursday, Purchase Line lost to Penns Manor at home by a 63-47 margin.

Meanwhile, Harmony Area suffered their closest defeat since February 1, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Blacklick Valley by a score of 46-43.

Purchase Line's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Harmony Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Purchase Line didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Harmony Area when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 47-41 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Purchase Line since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
