Volleyball Game Preview: Mascenic Regional Vikings vs. Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers

The Mascenic Regional Vikings will challenge the Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Mascenic Regional has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Hollis-Brookline will arrive with 12 straight wins.

Mascenic Regional is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Salem, who was ranked eighth at the time (Mascenic Regional was ranked 13th). The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hollis-Brookline got the win against Stark on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

Mascenic Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Hollis-Brookline, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
