Volleyball Recap: Jasper Extends Road Winning Streak to 11

Jasper won the last time they faced McAuley Catholic and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Jasper was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-9.

Alivea Roberts paced Jasper's offense, picking up 11 kills. Roberts got some help from Brenlly Roberts and her 14 assists. Alivea was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Jasper pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Jasper will face off against Rich Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McAuley Catholic, they will challenge Galena at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.
