Star Valley won the last time they faced Rock Springs and things went their way on Saturday too. The Star Valley Braves took down the Rock Springs TIGERS 64-50.

Boston James and Sam Lionberger certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. James posted 14 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, while Lionberger went 7-for-15 on his way to 15 points. What's more, James posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Moneyhun, who earned nine points.

Star Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. Rock Springs' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-11.

Star Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-42 loss against Evanston on the 9th. Rock Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
