Issaquah came into their game  on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost  9-3 to the Skyline Spartans. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Issaquah saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jacob Swanson, who  went 3-for-4 with one  RBI.  Charlie Lydum was another,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
Issaquah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Skyline, their record now sits at 6-4.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Issaquah will  challenge  rival Eastlake  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Eagles 2.7, the Wolves 2.3) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Skyline is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Lake Washington  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
