Softball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Pinole Valley Spartans, falling 16-0. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Concord's record is now 2-7. As for Pinole Valley, their record now sits at 8-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concord will challenge Novato at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pinole Valley, they will square off against Alhambra at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
