Soccer Recap: Ringgold Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Ringgold was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors by a score of 2-1. Ringgold haven't had much luck with Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Ringgold's goal came courtesy of Gracelee Thorton, who's now up to ten this season.

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Ringgold didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-2 loss against North Cobb Christian on the 27th. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Union County on the 27th.
